Born Ruffians Top 5 – Canadian Music Week 2019 Preview

Born Ruffians at Woodbine's Queen Plate Festival Day 2 2018

Born Ruffians are slated as the headliner at this year’s Jim Beam Indies with Indie 88 for Canadian Music Week at Toronto’s The Phoenix.

It’s a sweet spot in the festival and one Luke Lalonde, Mitch DeRosier, and Steve Hamelin have worked very hard to get to. The band have been together since 2004, and have put out 5 albums and 3 EPs. With over 5 million streams on Spotify and over a million views on YouTube, they’ve put in the time and effort to earn this spot.

The Midland, ON natives who now call Toronto home, have taken indie-rock fans by storm and we love their onstage energy.

We’re warming you up for CMW 2019 and with that in mind, we’ve put together a Top 5 list of Born Ruffian’s songs.

Is your favourite not on our list? Let us know in the comments.

If you don’t already have a wristband, you can get your tickets here!

Enjoy!
