2020 Country Music Association of Ontario Awards Nominees & Fan Poll
NOTE: We love the passion and support that fans are showing for their favourite artists and industry members in these fan polls. But in light of some discussion online, we want to remind everyone that these are just that – fan polls and they do not count as votes for the official Country Music Association of Ontario Awards. Keep voting and sharing, show your love for your favourites, and have fun – we love them all too!
The 2020 Country Music Association of Ontario Awards nominees have been announced, giving fans, artists, industry members and voters a look at the final names vying for trophies at the eighth annual awards show in London, ON.
Unfortunately, the awards show has been postponed to October 4, 2020, because of the ongoing COVID-19 concerns and precautions. But, that shouldn’t take anything away from the excitement or pride the nominees across all 16 categories are feeling today. Special congratulations go out to Meghan Patrick and The Reklaws who lead the way with six nominations each, closely followed by James Barker Band (5) and Tebey and Tim Hicks (4) on the 2020 list.
Note: There are three non-voting categories at the 2020 CMAO Awards as well, with the Impact Award, Nielsen Compass Award, and the Holly and Steve Kassay Generous Spirit Award. Congratulations go out to Carroll Baker, who has been named the 2020 Impact Award recipient.
