Labour Day Weekend Goes Country at Burl’s Creek Endless Summer Series

More live country music is coming to Burl’s Creek as summer fades into fall, but doesn’t quite end. The Endless Summer Series will land on Labour Day weekend with three days of music featuring a heap of Canadian country talent.

In presentation with Boots & Hearts, this three-day festival (with camping) is going to be as close to the full fest experience as we’re going to get since the 2019 summer weekend more than two years before it. Yes, it’s smaller. No, there aren’t any giant big American acts coming. BUT, the opportunity to have an all-Canadian country music festival, as the COVID pandemic starts to simmer and we look forward to the future with our feet in the present… that’s pretty fantastic!

14 country acts are lined up across the September 3rd to 5th festival, and there are some names that people are going to be very excited to see. Robyn Ottolini, who once performed in the Emerging Artist Showcase, and who we’ve laughed and sang along in the crowd as fans, will take the stage to perform her smash hit F-150 and more tracks from her career to date. Jojo Mason, who super early in his career (2016) hit the main stage and heard chants of “Jojo, Jojo, Jojo” with a giant smile on his face, will be back with his new Gold single Better On You to play. And Tyler Joe Miller, with two #1 singles already in his young career (Pillow Talkin’, I Would Be Over Me Too), will play at Burl’s Creek for the very first time.

Go ahead and add in the headliners and hit makers that you already know and we’ve been privileged to cover over the years, and this is going to be a good time for everyone who makes the trip.

A few notes… 1) Tickets for the Labour Day Weekend – Endless Summer Series event go on sale Thursday, July 29 and you should visit burlscreek.com for more info. 2) It gets a little chilly when the sun goes down after hot days in August up at Burl’s Creek, so be prepared for that if you’re going up on the first weekend of September. 3) Take care of yourself and your health. We know that things are getting better and we’re hoping for the best, but we’re also hopeful that you and everyone else will do your best to stay safe and healthy while you are there. Thank you.

Now, check out the full day-to-day lineups and stay tuned… because who knows what else can happen in and endless summer.
