The 2023 Boots & Hearts lineup has been out here with eyes on it for a while now. Tickets are sold (and selling – click here) and that’s because folks wanna see the artists at the four-day festival.

This year we’re getting a little more rock with our country on Friday when Nickelback, Big Wreck, JJ Wilde and more come on down to Burl’s Creek.

Note: It’s a little taste of WayHome (RIP) at Boots. But really, it’s just music that fits together for an audience that is going to have A LOT of fun!

In this post, we’ve got the day-to-day and stage-by-stage lineup breakdown. BUT, we’ve also added seven (7) Don’t Miss picks from Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Thursday is all Don’t Miss because it’s a p-a-r-t-y. Always.

Our picks don’t include headliners. That’s too easy, don’t miss them. They do include personal favourites, artists we’ve seen and covered and told y’all about. Acts that put on a helluva show and we really really think you deserve to see for yourselves.

Now, because we don’t have the timed schedule yet, there are a couple of picks here that have the chance to overlap – band while we’re crossing our fingers that it doesn’t happen – it’s part of festival life. We’ve all been there.

Don’t Miss: Matt Lang if you’ve ever danced or sang to a Dwight Yoakam jam, you won’t want to miss Mr. Lang. The 2019 Top of the Country winner has a killer voice and whether he plays the Yoakam dance floor medley or not, you’re gonna be in for a treat.

Don’t Miss: Dan Davidson when he has a boatload of fun on stage at Burls Creek. This dude is as DIY as they come, and as dedicated to his craft as they get. From rock to country, he’s done it and has it in him. He’s going to go all out, and you can join him.

Don’t Miss: Nice Horse when 4 badass women come together to play, sing, and shred on the Front Porch Stage. We love them. Always have. And if we have half the fun we’ve had in the past when they play their set, we’ll have been given a fan-friggin-tastic show.
