Happy Birthday Indie88 – The Glorious Sons & JJ Wilde at History

Indie88 is great at a lot of things. Right up at the top of the list is throwing a Birthday Party. Happy Birthday, Indie88!

Take 2 Juno Award-winning bands, add a swanky new venue, invite all of your friends, and boom! Birthday party extraordinaire. The night was on fire!

First to take the stage was the super talented JJ Wilde. This was my first time seeing JJ live. I was not prepared. Wilde and her band ripped up the stage like they were headliners and we were 100% there with her. JJ Wilde rocks!

Next up, our headliners. The Glorious Sons came, they saw, they conquered. This band knows their fans and they know how to play to them.

Ripping through hits, sprinkling in new material, and old favourites, TGS kept the pace at a bit of a fury. High-energy, heartfelt love songs, and everything else in between. There was so much love in the room, it was palpable.

I have to tip my hat to History Toronto. This beautiful new venue is state of the art. The sound and lights were perfect. Well worth the trek from one side of the city to the other for this human being.
