The Good Lovelies 2021 Christmas Tour is Underway, including Massey Hall Headlining Stop

The Good Lovelies 2021 Christmas Tour has is underway, with the Juno-winning trio on an eleven date trek across Ontario, that includes a stop in Toronto at the historic and newly re-opened Massey Hall!

For years, Good Lovelies have been sharing Christmas and holiday music in Albums, EPs and singles, and their Christmas tours have always been fan favourites. This year, with everyone looking to celebrate the season with as much normalcy as possible, the shows feel just a little more special. We’re glad for that.

“We are so proud that we kept this tradition alive last year with a virtual tour but you can imagine what it will mean to us to see your faces in person, visit your communities and celebrate the return to live shows with an actual tour.” – Good Lovelies

The Toronto show is special for more reasons too. Not only are Kerri, Caroline, and Sue visiting Massey Hall to play their first headlining tour at the venue, they are also donating a portion of the proceeds to The 519. The organization is a fantastic choice and cause to support this holiday season. The 519 is committed to the health, happiness and full participation of the LGBTQ2S communities. A City of Toronto agency with an innovative model of Service, Space and Leadership, they strive to make a real difference in people’s lives, while working to promote inclusion, understanding and respect.

Thank you to the band for offering their support to The 519, and to everyone else who is able to support as well. <3

When it comes to the music, Good Lovelies truly are one of my favourites for Christmas. Under The Mistletoe (2009), Winter’s Calling (2014), and Evergreen (2019) are all wonderful collections of holiday songs that make for excellent mood music around the house, or in your headphones while you do your holiday shopping.

The hook, of course, is the harmonies that the trio have been honing and sharing with us for years. Their voices come together on classics and originals, and it’s wonderful. Truly.

We’ve included a Good Lovelies Christmas & Winter Songs playlist in this post – so you don’t have to take my word for it, you can listen for yourself today. If you’ve got smart speakers in the house, I recommend playing over them and listening as you go about your day.
