Put The Words In My Mouth!
On the long weekend I was at a party chez @nympsam & @stephgoulet and it seems that at some point Sam snapped a photo of me mid-story. I dig the pic and the fact that I seem to be so animated. But I have no idea what I was talking about. So, I need your help. Lemme know what you think it was based on my body language and enthusiasm. I’m sure we can find a prize for the best idea/caption!
Side note: I blame the white wine sangria and awesome playlist for the not remembering part.
Side note 2: I do remember it being great to see/meet/hang out with Trish, Jon, Bev, Stephanie, Mike, Nicole, Sam, Steph and everyone else at the shindig.
Now, on to the randomness.
Things that I’m excited for, in no particular order or excitedness: The new Batman movie next summer. The new season of Chuck on TV this fall. Camping in a few weeks. Turning 30 (kinda). Chicken wings (whenever they may happen). Halloween. The next party at Sam & Steph’s. NFL football. Raising money for Movember. Sweater weather.
Things I’d like and/or need: New shoes. New jeans. New sweaters. Writing opportunities. A coffee table. Some money. Leafs vs. Habs tickets (in Toronto or Montreal, I’m not picky). Dinner with my long-lost Patrick. A haircut. More coffee in my cup (#xocoffee).
Things I’m a little tired of: People complaining on Twitter about people complaining on Twitter (it’s a circle, and you’re putting yourself in it!). Riots. Humidity. Pants. Losing at Scrabble. Missing people.
Things that are awesome – giving to charity like Children’s Aid when you can. Blue Jays baseball, get there when you can. Saturday and Sunday in Parkdale. My friends. You!
