Chicken on a Ledge with Coffee & Love – A Walk In The Toronto Street Art!

Yesterday after work I took a quick wander through Graffiti Alley to snag some pictures. I don’t know what made me go but I really liked it and found myself looking for things that I wanted to post here.

I really love the chicken on a ledge with coffee & love combo seen up top. Those pieces aren’t even close to each other in real life but I love coffee so they seem like a great match to me!

I started seeing date tags and really got infatuated with them. I found and snapped pics of two 2010s and 2012s before I found a 2011… it was worth the search. I feel like I got a set.

Here are the date tags and then a little bonus of me on a very artistic pole with more paint in the background.

There is a lot of awesome stuff in there. If you live in Toronto you’ve probably seen it for yourself. If you haven’t, let me know and we can go since it’s right around the corner from the office.

I need to go back anyway and get more pictures of the treasure map!

My visual art skills are limited at best… just ask the people that I’m playing Draw Something with… but the people that are putting these great pieces up are uber talented. I was walking alone and am willing to admit that I said “wow” out loud more than once as I kind of just took it all in.

I gotta split for now, but there will be more pictures in the future and more of Toronto to love as spring continues and summer approaches.

Have a great friggin’ day, you deserve it!
