2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Nominees Voting Open
The 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees have been announced, and it’s a 15 member list that has a whole lot of history attached to it.
From traditional rock acts like Def Leppard, The Cure, and The Zombies to popular acts including Janet Jackson, Rage Against The Machine, and LL Cool J, there’s something for everyone on the 2019 nominee list. The only question now is, who gets in?
More than 1,000 artists, historians, journalists and members of the music industry will cast their votes for the new class, but that’s not all. Fans will also have the opportunity to have their say and cast votes for up to five artists.

Now, we aren’t here to tell you who to vote for. All of the nominees are deserving of high honours and recognition for their distinguished careers. Every artist that is eligible the first year that does rock and roll music good should be inducted the first year of eligibility.
Why is it that Three Dog Night who have sold over 90 million records continues to be ignored for this honor

I’ll second that!! There are many “REAL!” Hall of Famers that should be nominees and/or already be in!! It’s Rock n Roll!! More then half of these DONOT fall under that genre of music! They should have separate genres 1) pop music ie: Janet Jackson!! 2) Rap LLCool J 3) Heavy Metal 4) Alternative? 5) whatever the rest !!! Bottom line these bands may have honors etc but to me and many others I have gotten their opinion bands that should be nominated for this Rock n Roll should be just that! Also they should be at the very least over 20/30 years old! Their music should be timeless ie: Stevie Nicks!!! Bands like The Monkees!!! Pink Floyd, Yes, get it yet?? Those are just some of who BELONGS in The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame!!!! I hope someone reads this and understands and gets it!!!!

Still waiting for Steve Perry to be nominated! WTH?! Gregg Rolie’s been there (RNRHOF) twice; once with Santana, and once with Journey. Steve replaced Gregg, now Arnel replaced Steve. Steve has much more experience than Arnel, not to mention, he really put Journey on the map. Wake up, RNRHOF!
What happened to J. Geils? I don’t see them on the 2019 list.
