Canadian indie rock darlings and heavyweights, Metric took over the Coca-Cola Stage at the 2019 Calgary Stampede with a list of hits to entertain the assembled crowd.

With Emily Haines fronting the stage, Metric came to Alberta and did what they do, giving energy, enthusiasm, and entertainment. That kind of performance is nothing new. It’s been more than 20 years since the band first came onto the scene with the Mainstream EP release in 1998. But it is always awesome to see it live and in action.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen Metric live on stage in front of thousands. Heck, we still remember how great they were at WayHome in 2016. And with any luck at all, the Coca-Cola Stage show on Wednesday night won’t be the last time we see these Canadian indie icons going all out.
