Lean On Me, Canadian Artists Join Forces to be #StrongerTogether
Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble
On Sunday night, artists, athletes, actors, and other famous Canadians came together for a multi-network special in support of Food Banks Canada and to offer hope, relief, and love to Canadians from coast-to-coast as we live through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Appearances by Shania Twain, Col. Chris Hadfield, Geddy Lee, Lilly Singh, The cast of Schitt’s Creek, David Suzuki, Ryan Reynolds, Will Arnett (with a surprise from Amy Poehler), Bryan Adams, and many, many more made the 90-minute program the kind of star-studded production that can make you proud of the talent in our country, the togetherness that we can exhibit as a country, and the resolve and strength of so many people working very hard right now. It was also a wonderful reminder and prompt to donate to Food Banks Canada and offer support to those of us hit hardest by the COVID-19 fallout.

The show also featured Lean On Me, as performed by an amazing group of Canadian artists and released under the name AritstsCAN. The song, a classic by the late Bill Withers, was the perfect choice, and the more than 2 dozen voices that came together to sing on this version of the track all did a wonderful job of being stronger together.
All proceeds from the ArtistsCAN release of Lean On Me will be directly donated to the Canadian Red Cross, so please buy, download, stream, and share the heck out of it.
