Canadian Music Week 2020 Early Concert Schedule

Canadian Music Week 2020 is still a couple of months away, but that hasn’t stopped us from checking the schedule for updates and starting to get excited for five music-packed days between May 19 and 23.

As of today (Monday, February 24, 2020) there are six shows scheduled, including three that are getting featured billing on the CMW website. We know that many, many, many more shows are going to be announced and we’re going to get excited about all of that. But for now, we know we have Pussy Riot headlining the Official Kickoff Party, Corb Lund headlining the SiriusXM House, and the Shiiine On Festival bringing a big end to CMW 2020 on Saturday night.

What we don’t know, but we think we have a pretty great case to hope for, is the possibility that we’ll get a massive surprise show from Foo Fighters at the El Mocambo on Thursday, May 21. Why do we think that might happen? Click Here for all of the dots and how we connected them -> Will Foo Fighters Play the El Mocambo in Toronto on May 21, 2020?

The information that we have from the six shows that have been announced includes a list of five venues and (at least) 13 artists. They cover three of the festival’s five days. And they give us lots of blank spaces to fill in the schedule between now and May 19, 2020.

And while we are waiting for more shows and bands and excitement to come, Wristbands are available now for Canadian Music Week 2020 for $100. For five nights of music, that’s a good value in Toronto, and each wristband is valid for all festival dates (May 19 – 23, 2020) and offer entrance to CMW Club Series Shows and CMW Concert Series Shows. Click Here for more information and to get your wristband.

And stay tuned, there’s a lot more to come as we get closer to CMW.
